DRAFT translation framework
From IFIwatchnet Wiki
Website translation framework
In line with efforts to make IFIwatchent.org accessible to as wide an audience as possible and the move towards a new model of animation, which aims to increase the contributions to the site from a more diverse set of actors, this document page highlight some important areas for consideration when thinking of an expanded multilingual site. It would be particularly helpful to develop the set of questions on the talkpage, and use that area to raise other points and discuss more in detail.
At a minimum, translations should follow the existing model of Spanish and French versions of the IFIwatchnet site- this should include translated navigation on the top vertical and right horizontal menus, and the immediate subheadings.
The list of menus and subheadings is broken down here:
Top menu categories
